Krusee Bill Prohibits State Highway 130 Billboards

The erection of unsightly billboards along the route of State Highway 130 will be banned, thanks to legislation authored by Representative Mike Krusee during the 79th Legislative Session.  On March 3, 2005, Krusee filed House Bill 2051, which adds State Highway 130 to the list of several state routes upon which billboards are prohibited. Krusee's Landmark Transportation Reforms Pass

Representative Mike Krusee, working with the Texas Farm Bureau and with input from hundreds of Texans, crafted and passed House Bill 2702. This new law places new limits on toll roads and the proposed Trans Texas Corridor, making sure that citizens have even greater protection for their property and water rights.  Also, the bill requires a public vote before an existing road may be converted to a toll road.  The bill also includes many other protections.  Read more >
